About Dr. Tara Flor
Being a patient of chiropractic is what inspired me to become a doctor. When I was 19, I was in a ski accident that left me with a severe concussion and whiplash in my neck and back. I suffered from daily debilitating headaches for over a year.
After undergoing vigorous medical testing and being prescribed numerous trials of medication with little relief, I decided to try seeing a chiropractor. It only took a few weeks of treatment and rehabilitation of my neck for my pain to fade. I finally felt like myself again. After all the doctors I had worked with, it was my chiropractor who helped me get out of pain, without prescription drugs and without surgery.

After completing my education and graduating from New York Chiropractic College, I was excited to establish myself in my new home in Vermont. I enjoy spending time in nature - hiking, cycling, and skiing. It was here where I met my husband - a lover of the outdoors as well. What I’ve learned in my experiences - personally and professionally - is that health - like happiness - is a journey, not a destination. It's a continuous effort on our part to create the quality of life we wish to have.
Seeing a person create healthy changes to take back control over their health, their career, their finances – it truly inspires me. Throughout my own personal journey to health, I have learned so much from doctors, wellness providers, coaches, and friends. I am excited now to continue to learn and share my knowledge as it applies to you and your needs.
